Up for sale is my Supercharged LS3. This motor came with my 68 Camaro that I purchased last year. I purchased the car from a long time forum member and have a good amount of documentation on this motor. The previous owner of my car was in the process of replacing the big block in the Camaro with this LS3 motor. The motor never ran in my car and was only bolted in the car to transport it when I bought it. It is currently sitting on an engine stand in my garage.

The motor was purchased as a slightly used motor from RPM Motors Inc. in California some time in 2011. What I have confirmed from the owner of Rpm Motors Inc. was this motor was intentionally built for one of his customers C6 Corvette. The motor was broken in on their engine dyno and installed in the Corvette and only tuned on the chassis dyno. I have a video of the motor on the chassis dyno and a dyno sheet showing HP at 800.5 and TQ at 781.6. This was at a high boost run. RPM Inc. told me there was between 500-700 miles on the motor. The motor was then taken out of the car for a combination of it being too much power and the original owner couldn’t finish paying for it. This is when the previous owner of my car bought the motor and had it shipped.

I have gone back and forth with keeping this motor. In the end the HP even at low boost is more than I want and I want a NA motor. This is really the only reason why I am selling and do not need to sell it.

This price doesn’t count the Katech matching valve covers, Katech coil relo kit, the 102mm Nick Williams throttle body and new coils and plus wires. These additional items easily exceed another $1500 for a total cost as it sits to be around $22,000.

RPM Inc. does have three tunes on file that they can load for a cost onto a Corvette ECU. I believe they have 10, 12 and 17 pound tunes. An ECU doesn’t come with the motor. I want to point out that at some point during the removal or install of the motor before I purchased a small gash was made on the crank pulley. I will include a picture and I have confirmed with Innovator West that it is not an issue.

I have spoken with a number of well-known engine builders and several industry experts about what this motor would be worth. I got some low numbers and some that were pretty high. In the end it is only worth what someone is willing to spend. I am asking $14,500.00, but flexible. Keep in mind I will not give this motor away. I will not even respond to low ballers or opinions about the motor. If you have something negative to say please be respectful and keep it to yourself. I know everyone is an expert or at least they think they are. If I do not get close to what I want then I will keep the motor.

I do not want to separate the motor any parts that are on the motor come with it. I have all of the supercharger parts to include the intercooler, lines, pump and so on. I will consider traders for complete motors or possibly short/long blocks. I will consider mild or stroked LS3’s and LSX/ LS7’s. This is going into a street car so; drag motors, solid roller cams and so on I do not want.

I am located in Warrenton, Virginia a suburb of Northern Virginia about 40 miles southwest of Washington DC. I will ship the motor but the buyer needs to make all of the arrangements and it will be at the buyers cost. I will build a crate at my cost and get it ready to be shipped. The motor will need to be picked up at my house which I am flexible on timing but you will need a lift gate. If I get my asking price I would be willing to possibly travel within a reasonable distance. That distance will be figured out if an offer is made. I will accept cash or PayPal only. If PayPal is choose then all PayPal fees will be paid by the buyer and added to the price. I will not hold the motor for anyone and the first person to send the money gets the opportunity to buy the motor.
