There's no latch. Incorporating that would have added to the cost substantially. It stays closed under it's own weight and no one has complained or has had a problem with it. Seems like you would need one but, you really don't.

These are a complete bolt in unit. The underside is black felt and the only thing re used are the three screws attaching what you have now. Should've said this earlier to clarify, Thanks!!!!!

i wish someone did this with the whole interior, like a carvaggio vette. This is a badass piece i want it, but worry itll look out of place

Just do an Ebony lid with black stitching if you want to stay to the factory theme.

Can you do black bride fabric without the logo for the center part with ebony leather on the sides. Black stitching?
