Default LS2 Block

Category: Engine - Complete Motors
Price: $625
Location (State): IN
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item Can be Shipped
Engine: LS2/LS3/LS7/L92/LS9
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

This block came out of my 2006 GTO. Motor had 50k miles at the time of disassembly and was in good working condition. I was originally going to open up the ring gaps and reassemble.

Unfortunately, upon reassembly an ARP Head Stud broke in the upper right hole of cylinder #7. The broken piece of the stud is still in the hole. It will likely need to be drilled out and timeserted by a machine shop. Bores are all in good condition.

Block, main caps, and ARP Main Stud kit are included. $800 OBO, shipped within the continental 48.

In the 3rd photo, I placed the other half of the broken stud in the hole to indicate it's position. The 2nd photo shows that hole empty, but the stud snapped about 1" below the deck.

How did your break an ARP head stud.? If the stud was defective I would think ARP would be buying you a new block.
