I have been collecting parts to build a 2000 WS6 for about a year, but I got in a wreck with my race car back in October, so I am going to sell off some of the stuff for the WS6 to free up money to use on the race car as it is a much higher priority.
I bought a donor car that had this rear end in it last December or January, and it was a turbo 5.3 car that saw very little run time. The rear end is like new mechanically. It does have scratches and what not from being removed and installed in two cars (it was in my WS6, car was rolling, never saw run time in my hands).
I pulled the axles and 3rd member to verify what everything was, and the condition of everything, and everything is very nice.
Here is how it is equipped:
-Stock width
-Strange 35 spline axles
-1/2" wheel studs
-Spool
-3.70 Richmond ring and pinion (not a PRO gear, for street use)
-Chromoly tunnel mount torque arm with driveshaft loop
-Housing back brace
-Black powder coating
-3 channel ABS
-Strange Pro nodular iron case
-Forged aluminum pinion support and chromoly pinion yoke
-Strange 3"x.083 chromoly driveshaft with Strange billet 27 spline transmission slip yoke (fits 4L60e, T56 with stock size mainshaft, Powerglide)
-Backing plates, calipers, and brake lines from 98-02 F body (have to keep rotors as there is a matching set of four Baer rotors on the car), The calipers were ground by previous owner for wheel clearance. Use at your own risk, or don't use. Calipers come with it for free if you want them.
With these options and components, this rear end looks to be around 5k from Midwest Chassis new. I am looking for $3,000. Like I said, it's pretty much new mechanically. It had VERY little run time. Save yourself the wait time and a good buck if this is the combination you are looking for.
You can see by the condition of the 3rd member that this is like new. I took the rear end apart to verify everything. The oil was totally golden and I did not use any brake cleaner or cleaning solvent, just let the oil drip off. This rear end is truly like new mechanically. It has done more sitting around than anything.
