Seems cheap enough to me for a car where nothing appears broken and still looks good. Can't say that about too many 16 year old cars with 170K miles. You would figure the parts are worth at least $3K. One of a half dozen scarcer colors in 1998 that make up only 15% of total production. Mystic Teal was approx 4.6% of Camaro production. A lot of miles to be sure. But if a large % of those were highway trips than maybe the car compares better to a typical one driven 100K-150K miles? I think it's a good deal. Someone will snap that up for $3K. That's the same price I sold my white '98 Z28 automatic for in 2009 (to a dealer on trade in). It had 115K miles and was very clean inside and out....looked more like a 65K mile car. But, it probably needed $500-$1,000 in AC and other misc mechanical work. It ran very nice too. If you're sure this 171K mile car has no drive train, suspension, AC, tire, etc. issues then it sounds like you can't get hurt.
