Price: $9000
Mileage: 13000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): MI

LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

Hi guys,

I'm in no particular hurry to sell this thing, will continue to race it while I have it, but figured I would not complain if someone showed up with some cash.

I'm gonna ask $8750 for now, see what people think...

Couple things about this car.
Dead reliable - completely daily driveable if you want to.
Completely obnoxious to daily drive. Manual steering, no insulation, noisy, hot, stiff, so it's miserable as a daily driver.
I drive it to and from all AutoX events, and to work once a week or so. Occasional cruising on weekends. (doesn't overheat even moving 2mph on woodward weekend for hours)
It's rusty.

So, onto the list of stuffs..

88 hardtop GTU model - one of the lightest FCs Mazda sold, no power accessories, no sunroof, and has the 5lug/4piston brakes stock.
Interior totally stripped aside from dash and door panels
Integra speedo swap (digital)
scca solo XP class legal dual element wing: Can provide CAD if you'd like.
Giant truck battery behind passenger seat
2000 LM7 Bone Stock(2002 pcm tune)
improved racing oil pan baffle
F-body accessory layout, alternator from 2000 LM7
F-body T56 with pro5.0 short shifter, delrin shift ****
LS7 clutch + flywheel
ARP Crank bolt
ARP extended front wheel studs to fit 3/8" spacer to fit the cobra wheels
grannys v8 swap kit (mounts, trans mount, d-shaft, solid engine mounts, poly trans mount bushing)
Wilwood reverse hanging dual MC + clutch pedal assy
HP+ pads all around <3000 miles
New Rotors all around <3000 miles ago
OEM Terminator Cobra wheels 17x9 wrapped in Nitto NT01 275/40/17 all around (have a single spare wheel, also OEM)
Corksport front fenders
AEM wideband feeding into PCM (and a gauge on dash)
dual reservoir oil accumulators with ball valve (-10 AN line)
-10AN line to and from FC oil cooler
GAB revolution stroke 2 adjustable coilovers front + rear
camber plates
Poly bushing front LCAs, solid front bar endlinks
modified rear dogbones (1.9" spread e2e) for camber adjustment
poorboy longtube headers
Exhaust scavenge welded into y pipe, lines ran, but need to add fittings to valve covers to complete
3" exhaust running through magnaflow muffler and ebay fart can with 4" tip
stainless steel braided teflon fuel line from tank to rail, and back again -6AN
DTSS eliminator bushings
solid mounted rear s4T2 diff (salisbury LSD) and rear subframe (http://www.norotors.com/index.php?topic=17733.0)
Pinion brace dogbone mod (see http://www.norotors.com/index.php?to...0803#msg250803)
MOMO fixed back seat (still have worn stock seat if you would prefer that for a price drop)
3 hole power steering rack totally depowered - pistons removed, quill welded solid
Can include XP class magnet if you'd like

now adding bunches of pics below.
not the prettiest car, but it can't get any more reliable than this.

oops looks like FB isnt loading so I'll be linking pictures later.

Can obviously take specific pictures and answer questions upon request

Had a bunch of fun at the last local autoX of the season.

convinced one of the better drivers in the area to try out my car, wow what a difference.
It was his first time driving this thing but I learned a lot, he logged some data and gave me a bunch of pointers

unfortunately event was run badly so only got 4 runs, but it was a fun way to end off a season.

It's "only" the chassis that's rusty.
subframe, suspension, all the other parts are in good shape.
amount of rust.... typical 80s japanese car rust in the midwest?
there are rust holes, but I don't think the structural integrity is too compromised.

Does that help answer the question?

Also interested in trades if it interests me.
But most likely I would like to trade down.
As in your project + cash for my car.
