Hard to believe you are actually driving a 1965 truck as it feels like a new chevy truck. Very Very Smooth! We removed the power train from a running and driving 2005 Yukon with 71k Miles. Throttle is electronic and very responsive. This truck has a great patina and a very solid truck with only cosmetic surface rust. I have averaged 22-24mpg, can easily cruise 70-80mph with the 4l60 and 3.08 rear gear. Dakota Digital dash is awesome as it can even record 0-60 time, top speed, quarter mile time along with giving all your vitals gauge signals. I have put right around 300 miles on this cool truck since we completed the build with absolutely zero problems. Can drive this truck right now anytime and anywhere. All glass is perfect with no cracks or chips. Both Window roll up and down with ease. Weather-stripping is all in great condition with no water leaks. Body is very solid with very little surface rust. Only damage on the body is the right front of the hood (gives it a little character). Truck was restored appox in the early 90’s which there is some body filler on the pass side door and bed (once again looks great with the patina). Bed cross rails and mounting points are all in perfect condition ready for your choice of bed options. Wiper work great and still has the factory heater.
