***SOLD***

Finally selling the black beast. I purchased it in 2004, and mechanically, the thing has been as reliable as you could want. She is mostly a garage queen these days, so it is time to pass her on to someone to carry the Firebird torch.

I used to be on these forums almost every day, mostly reading and trying to gather information. I put a lot of time and thought into the powertrain mods, to make sure they were all meticulously mated to one another without any obvious bottle necks. I was more than pleased with the results, and the custom Flowmaster duals really give it a unique and menacing sound.

Cons

1. Purchased the car with a Rebuilt Salvage title

It had a rebuilt salvage title because it was stolen and recovered from the previous owner. Then I purchased it in 2004, when it had 57k miles on it. It ran like a beast since the day I bought it. I’ve put almost 40k miles on it, modded it in 2007, and it still runs like a beast and then some.

2. The chrome rims have some rust on the barrels

3. T-tops are the dot-matrix style off of an LT1 Firebird.

I used to not always lock the t-tops with a key, and I lost one on the highway. I got a pair of t-tops off of an LT1 Firebird on it now. I still have the passenger LS1 t-top if you want it.

It was my main car for a while. I typically only drove the Accord when the weather was bad. It can work as a daily as long as you do not get tired of an exhaust that growls at idle and roars when you get on it.

Touched up by Jeff at Precision Auto Sports. He and shop are well regarded in the Dayton and Xenia region.

Stock rear and stock gearing.

Body is in good shape, the paint does have scratches though since it is a 15 year old car with 95k miles.

I went through an automatic power car wash once and it leaked at the top corner. So just stay away from power car washes. Also, the window motors are currently fine, but I replace them once every 3 or 4 years. If the window motors are about to go out, the windows won't go 100% of the way up and it will leak.
