Is it a rod bearing? Basically all that's gonna be good is the block it sounds like. 1,100 kind of high for just a block if you don't know what's messed up.

We know it's a rod or a main. We know it had some very fine but no chunks of bearing material in the oil/pan. This tells me it's most likely minimally damaged and will be able to be cleaned up with a polish or a cut on the crank. That bearing said, with as good as the cylinders look , some new rings, a deck, and assembly with a new timing chain would net a low budget shortblock. I mean , I can strip it down and sell all the parts and get my money I'm asking I'm sure as I have sold a bare block, stock rod and piston sets and stock cams here before, but I'd much rather sell it as a whole complete shortblock like it sits. I thought the price was pretty fair for an assembled short block with some basic bearing damage. Please someone tell me if I'm off here.
