For sale $1500 OBO or trade performance built th400 transmission. Transmission was built using BTE high performance rebuild kit/clutches, BTE deep pan and BTE reverse manual valve body. The direct drum is the heavy duty steel unit with a 34 element sprag. The converter is a Coan Engineering 10" stall converter with approximate 4300 stall speed. The converter is relatively tight, very efficient and has extended pilot for use with an LS type engine and/or an SBC/BBC. It must be used with an LS-style SFI flexplate that has the early Chevrolet bolt pattern such as the TCI (I used this in my setup). There is absolutely nothing wrong with this transmission and converter. I have about $1200 in the transmission and $975 in the converter. It pushed my N/A Camaro into the 9.85 zone off the footbrake (and would have gone faster with more gear). I would be willing to trade even up for a T56 or a 4L80 that is in good working order. The TCI SFI flexplate and Hurst Quarter stick are available for the right deal but not included in the asking price.

The reason for the sale is I am putting my Camaro back in street trim and would like a stick shift back in it.
