1977 K5 Blazer 2wd with mostly original paint and interior. Powered by a 2001 5.3 and 4L60e. Suspension is lowered 4"/6" with a c-notch and belltech shocks. Wheels are Boss Motorsports 338's 20/22's with Toyo tires.

The 5.3 swap mimics the donor trucks engine compartment with the air intake, under hood bussed electrical center/fuse block and PCM in the same locations as the 01. The a/c blows cold and the cruise control off of the donor also works. The only thing that I have not completed on this swap to be 100% is install a 90-91 cluster. An ultragauge is currently used to monitor engine functions.

This truck was built to be a cruiser! With 3.23 gears and 32" tires it turns 1800 rpm at 80 mph. The body is very solid with great patina and minimal rust in the door jambs. For a 37 year old vehicle it is extremely solid and turns heads everywhere it goes.
