Was headed over to a friend's apartment after work today and have to go over about 6 speed bumps through his complex to get there--not so fun in a lowered car. Crawled over speed bump #4 and the DSR stud snapped. I last tightened it about a year ago after it had backed off and applied thread lock.





As you can see from the pics, the stud snapped at the base. Looks like I'll be getting new shocks sooner than expected.

I swear it's one thing after another with this car.

a little bit of motivation for me to hold off on lowering my car as long as I DD it. Enjoy the new shocks though!
