The question is, how would a dry nitrous setup work on a car that has no MAF and is tuned in Closed Loop Speed Density (O2 sensors tuned out). I'd only be looking to spray around a 75 to 100 shot.

You could fatten the fuel via the PE table.
Would have to set it on the Dyno.
Would affect non nitrous hp since you would be fat when NA.

Could trick the PCM somehow via IAT and a relay for adding extra fuel


Challenge is that you will end up with a set fuel amount when in PE mode.
It would not compensate for actual nitrous flow (bottle pressure becomes really important)

I would suggest you run a wet shot with an SD tune. Is there any reason you want to go dry?

Thanks guys. There is a cheap HSW dry setup with a Microedge for sale on here which is why I was inquiring. Doesn't sound like it would be optimal with my setup.

Yeah, I would pass. There's plenty of wet kits that pop up at a good price. Once I get my single plain set up all sorted out N/A I can't wait to spray it.
