Default Where in dfw to get exhaust work?

I'm looking to get my true duals ran all the way out back. Where is a good place than can do it for a good price and is familiar with fbody setups. They are dumped before the axle now..is Mike Hutto still around?

I had Jerry's muffler shop in Lewisville do mine. The bends aren't the prettiest and he gave me **** about removing the mufflers but I gave him **** about his bending skills.

Lane doesn't do exhaust work anymore, I think that's who custom made my x pipe and tucked the collectors

I'm in the DFW area myself and have exhaust work planned.

I have got lots of positive comments about high quality work from this place:

Kinney's Muffler Shop
5951 Rufe Snow Drive
Watauga, TX 76148

Wondering if anyone else is familiar with Kinney's or has any stories?

Its been so long I can't remember, like $250 or something to extend my pipes from the x pipe to the bumper. I got tired of getting hassled about only that at inspection places

This was years ago when he had just ls swapped his blazer, now he has an old 50's chevy tow truck ls swapped he drag races too

Bryan at muffler king (x3)

He's been building some killer dual set ups for f bodies and he's been doing real nice exhaust work etc for about 20 years.

Contact Ray @ Fortress Performance
He builds the best true dual systems hands down. I have had several sets built by him and quality is top notch.

Isn't that Old School Speed & Custom? Ray's cool as ****, ugly as a mud fence but a heck of a guy!

There is only one place in the DFW area that I know of that has Mandrel bender, PRT Performance in Lewisville;

http://www.prtperformance.com/index.php

Most places (including Ray) buys mandrel bent pipe and welds it to your spec. PRT has the bender, it aint cheap but it is first class.

yep, replying to my own post.

Had a full, stainless exhaust system put on here.

Top notch work, I made an appt a couple of weeks prior as they seem to have a steady work flow. Took a couple of days to do the work.

Everything very professional, and charged accordingly. Lifetime warranty on the exhaust. I would take another vehicle back there. Positive experience.
