when did gen 4 rods appear in 5.3 truck motors? I have seen a few 6.0's in 2005 trucks that were 24x and had the gen 4 rods.
The tip off was 13mm valley cover bolts.
Does this hold true for 4.8/5.3 motors? when did the first ones appear?

Nope. I'll be signing up as a sponsor in the spring so I can advertise a buddies new dyno and try to get an LS1Tech dyno day.
