Default HELP 98 camaro ss trans and pcv problems

I just bought my first 4th gen ls car 3 weeks ago I already knew the motor wasn't any good it shattered a rod and slung it through both sides of the block so I just finished installing a 5.3 yesterday but now I'm having problems with the trans not shifting or hardly pulling at all it's almost as if it's low on fluid but I've checked it and it's fine also I'm not really sure on how the vaccuum lines should be run for the pcv and the breather tube on the passenger side valve cover I've noticed it's got way to much vaccuum in the crank case

sounds like you are not running a pcv valve. if you reused the f body covers you must have a pcv valve. if you have old truck covers you must have a pcv valve, if you have new car or new truck covers it is built in.
