FS: 2002 SOM WS6, w/mods, low miles... My baby is for sale.
KBB private party value is $19,375. This car has over $13k in parts added to it. I'm asking $23,500 obo. (This is close to what you'd pay retail for stock version, so financing should not be an issue.)
2002 Sunset Orange Metallic Trans Am WS6 (1 of ~500 2002 SOM WS6s produced)
31000 miles
Stock options:
6 speed
SOM exterior, Ebony interior
WS6 Performance Package
Hurst shifter
Why: I simply don't make time to enjoy this car anymore. With 2 kids, I make it to very few car-related activities. (No car shows in over a year. No charity events in almost a year. No autocrosses in almost 3 years. No drag strip in over a year.) This car is currently only used as a daily driver from my garage to my covered parking at work.
Over $4k in engine/drivetrain parts.
Over $3k in suspension/steering parts.
Over $3k in interior/electronics parts.
Over $2k in unique appearance parts.
This car is in excellent condition.

Car also includes a hardwired radar detector up above the rear view mirror. It's an old Whistler (no laser), but you could still use the wiring for a newer model if you desired...

Holy crap Shane - I am in lust with your SOM. I am Trent's dad, we met at the car show @1431 once, I have since purchased an 02 Z28 with 25Kmiles on it and have started to mod it (~330rwhp or so)..... I could buy your car if I had my 98 cobra sold, or if you will trade me ++ cash for my Z28 I have seen this T/A in person and it is absolutely stunning inside and out, those rims are beautiful, the paint is near flawless and the custom leather work in the interior is second to none - the best I have seen. You can't really tell in the pics but the color on the seats and door inserts is a spot on match for the SOM exterior. Good luck w/sale Shane.....

I too know this car (and it's driver) personally. Buy with confidence. Shane is a great guy and takes exceptional care of his ride.
I can vouch that it is CLEAN and has not been beaten on. In fact, I have given Shane a hard time once or twice for "never" making it out to the track. Beautiful car in great shape.

wtb Im really interested in your car! ive been looking for a som ws6 for a while now. im from missouri (kansas city area) and was curious how i would go about working out a loan for an out of state vehicle if you have the title (since most banks need the title when you sign for the loan). if all of that works out im definately good to go on buying your car! im stationed in camp pendleton, california with the marine corps and would be able to take a day off and come look at the car here in the near future. please pm me back or call me.
