Like the title says... New Comp Cam's 918 valve springs, still in box. Only opened to check them out, never installed. Was talked into getting a set of Patriot Gold Dual valve springs to avoid valve float at higher rpm with the stealth II cam (.581 lift) and 15psi of boost. They were not comp 918's, for the past 3 years all comp918 valve springs have come with a blue stripe I learned of this today while speaking to shanon a comp cam tech. These don't have them but a slight orange stripe. I'm glad i noticed this before I installed them myself or sold them to a friend on the forum. Is there anyway you can refund my money and I will mail these back to you. If you purchased these from summit then it is something you can take up with them. I'm sending you a PM so I can hope to resolve this way. Thanks bud- trey

 

Refund made... These springs were sold to me as NIB 918's, apparently they aren't 918's, or an older model. Thanks for understanding Lawhorn.
