T56 6 speed LS1 Rebuilt with D&D internals
Up for bids is a rebuilt T-56 6speed from a 2000 Camaro SS. It was rebuilt with a D&D rebuild kit and has carbon fiber blocker rings and a steel 3 & 4 shift fork, new titanium syncros.
All work was professionally done by a local shop here in CT that rebuilds circle track cars. No problems, with this one. Shifts smooth, with only 1000 miles of easy driving in my car. I take care of my cars. This rebuild can take over 600 ftlbs of torque. If you know transmissions, D&D is one of the best in the business. Transmission does not come with a Clutch, flywheel, bellhousing or shifter. All sensor come with it.
Here is their website

Kit includes carbon fibre blocker rings 1st thru 6th (reverse is brass), inserts, springs, fork pads and high hat.
Stock T56 has aluminum shift forks. The D&D kit has a steel 3-4 shiftfork which was developed for the Viper LeMans racing program and became a production part on Vipers in the late 1990's.
Ford Cobra & Cobra R models have it as well. GM switched to it in the 2001-2002 time frame. Your best bet is to upgrade before the aluminum one bends and causes it to pop out of gear.
