I have a 99 camaro z28 and i'm going to put a stage 3 clutch in it, where would i get the remote bleeder or something like it for the slave cylinder

 

Do a search in this section. A friend of mine and I both bought bleeders from a guy that sells them on this site. Great product, saves alot of time and aggravation.

 

PM "steve-d"...he's around on here, and also hangs out on frrax.com. Great product, and highly recommended by me to anyone if they are gonna be replacing their slave cylinder soon. Bleeding is a LOT easier with this thing. No more crawling around under the car.

 

Yes, steve-d is the guy we got our bleeders from, sorry couldn't remember the name.

steve-d is the man for the extension. I just ordered my new master and slave today and will be picking them up tomorrow. Drill mod, and retrofit the bleeder extension I already got from Steve and then I am ready for my clutch swap! Thanks Steve!

 

What's needed besides the remote bleeder extention and the actual slave?

 

Time (to pull the transmission to get to said slave).

I just installed one from steve. It screws into the slave, replacing the stock bleeder. No modification to the slave is needed (this was on an f-body)

The parts costs a lot more than that.

 

I'll vouch for Steve-D's setup as well. I've had his design for a little over a year and have had absolutely no problems. I can't view the link posted by Country Boy.

 

From where ? I can get the hose made with ends for $13 up to 36", then a little more from there if I want it longer, and then then the fittings are ~$3 each. It is nice having an industrial hydraulic hose shop right up the road .

Hell, he did my nitrous lines (not including line to tank)- with pipe to an fittings, fuel port fitting, etc. for $36- and that was the two lines from the solenoids to the nozzle and the one from the fuel port to the solenoid.

Heck, even McMaster, who is almost double what you can get the stuff wholesale for, is not much more than that.

To each his own. All I know is I paid steve his asking price, it showed up in 2 business days, took 20 seconds to install, and now there is zero air in my hydraulic system.
