The white bonnets were our previous variety. They are now replaced by the same style and weave from the manufacturer. The current bonnets are now gray. Sells for $5.99/pair and both sides can be used for removal.

For example using Tropi-Care products, you can use the orange "cutting/polishing" pad with the TC-8 Swirl Cutter. The key is to move across the surface at the rate of 1"/second while breaking down the product until it's almost clear. Set your speed dial at 5 (Increase or decrease as necessary) and monitor the conditions of the surfaces. Lightly mist the work area with a spray bottle of water to minimize dusting and reduce the chance of micro-marring. Inspect the results. The finer scratches will be removed first followed by the deeper ones. Some scratches may be too harsh for the Swirl Cutter to remove. The use of yellow "medium cutting" pad may be necessary for removal.

A white light polishing pad can be used to further refine and smooth the surface. Once satisfied with the finish, you can apply last step products such as sealant, liquid waxes or glazes with the black or blue finishing pads.
