I bought a tranny from WWW.TRANSPERFORMANCE.NET through Ebay.These guys are operating under the Ebay names:68custom or rjb01camaross. Please beware, I have been messing with these guys for 2 months and have yet to receive a good tranny.They are poorly packaged and are damaged in shipment.I have since had my original rebuilt locally.I have filed a complaint with Ebay and
68custom was shutdown.He is now operating under the name rjb01camaross.Please stick with the sponsors on this board...I wish I did.I have filed a complaint with Paypal...but it has taken them over 30 days to investigate.I am not too happy with Paypal .You get what you pay for...stick with the board sponsors.

I will agree on paypal you are far better off using regular credit card type payments through regular processers. Sorry you ran into issues with those guys. And good luck with paypal I never had real good dealings with them. From either side of the purchaser/retailer end, Thats why we dont use them that and there rates are so high. The credit card companies are much more professional to work with from both sides.

yes i wish i would have done a lot more research or seen this web before i bought. I just bought a stge 3 trans from them on ebay and it came in thursday. I opened the box and it was a primer grey trans. The input and output shaft was rusted and dirty with grime on it. The oil line was painted with it inside the holes. The dipstick tube gromet was painted so i stuck my finger in it to wipe some of the paint out of it and my finger came out black. Stock survo on the side of it. So I got curious and pulled the pan to check the filter. To my surprise it had used trans fluid residue all inside the pan like it dripped out of the trans then it had metal sliver in the pan. I looked at the filter and the outside of it was trans fluid covered but not on the inside of filter. It apears to me to be a junk yard trans that was cleaned up a little bit and primered grey, new filter. Inside trans still had graphite residue all over. one of the electronics is missing the clip that holds it in. so if i was to put it in the car it would have not went anywhere. I am now trying to get my money back can you give me some tip on what you had to do.

I too bought a trans from them. primered grey, damaged truch pan. And last night it lost reverse, 1st and 2nd.... His number is down, no number shows up for the address!!!! ****!

If you are local to him I would suggest contacting the authorities and have your paperwork handy. You could also contact the local news station as well.

He Is Now Operating Under The Name Melsie68 On Ebay Now. I Won The Case Through Ebay But They Only Gave Me $200 And He Was Suppore To Refund All The Money But He Hasnt Yet. I Am Deployrd To Afganistan Wright Now But I Have Not Forgot About Him. The Better Business In His Area Has Called Me Several Time Yall Need To Contact Them And Make A Complaint. When I Get Back To The Usa I Will Be Filing A Civil Law Suit Against Him If I Do Not Recieve My Money.

Im having the same problem,crappy packaging,primer grey ect..Also the tranny burned up with only 1100 miles on it. Unfortunately i didnt do my research befor i purchased it. i talked to ebay and they refered me to Ic3.gov for internet crimes and hopfully ill get somewhere. I just urge you guys to file a complaint if you can. I have all of there information including ph #'s and addresses.

Hi I'm new here to the site but I got on here by following the link about transperformance. I've had the level 3 4l60e in my lt1 for just over a year and something is wrong. We're running codes and checking all that we can but I need to know what to do. i've never dealt with something like this before. All I get is a busy tone when I call the number I was given. He wasn't much help or a good person to work with before or when I get the trany. Haven't had any problems up until now but need to know what you guys did/ suggest, so I can go about the way of trying to get this thing fixed. It took me 10 months to save up for the dang thing and now I'm back to square one!

Along for the Ride. bought Stage 2 60E june of 07. blew up like a month later, took it apart and it was stock. Heard from a friend that people where trying get even with the scammer. Still have the tranny in the plastic piece of **** container it was shipped in.

LET ME KNOW IF THERES ANY THING I CAN DO TO HELP
