I got a few more pictures of my oil pressure and Interceptor gauges and switch plate I installed not to long ago. Just wanted to post the new ones up (I can't seem to find my old thread).

Here's the dual gauge plate I made for my car:






A couple of the single gauge plate I made for my father's SS




And finally the switch plate. It's cut to where the lid closes perfectly flush with the console.


Here's a picture of the back of the console so show you how much room is is between the switch plate and the ashtray lid

Looks good I have a Interceptor, Fuel pressure and Wideband waiting to go in but the damn pillar hasn't showed up yet.

how did you go about making the single gauge plate? I have my trans temp gauge in the same spot but mine looks like crap.

 

Thats the first thing I thought of when you said you couldn't find your old thread, but its probably b/c you were "thinking" about selling stuff on here without the "sponser fees" payed up...catch my drift?
Either way though- Guage set up looks very nice!!!

 

The gauge plates are cut with a water jet to a tolerance of .001". Over the course of 3 months, I measured, cut, and recut the three plates until they fit perfectly.

I figured that was why too. I read up on the sticky with the related rules and realized a made a mistake on the old thread. My bad.
If the old thread is cleared and redone, can it be brought back to life?

 

Ok, here's a chance for someone to me. What is the switch plate Looks like a flat plate to me

There aren't any switchs installed on mine, so that may be your confusion. I'm still deciding what I want to put in there (N20, push button start, etc). But yes, it is a flate plate that fits perfectly in the ashtray.

 

its a flat panel
in which you cut holes in and add switches or gauges, whatever you want.
