LS1 Longblock and other parts. My stock LS1 motor is still forsale.
1. LS1 longblock. The LS1 is from my 02 Camaro, after teardown and inspection there was nothing wrong with it. Will sell all parts disassembled for $1000 or can be rebuilt with new bearings, gaskets, etc. We can work with Dave from cdnperf.com to get a very reasonable rebuild engine with the options you want. Price lowered to $500
Talked to Dave at Canadian Performance. He is willing to give me a great price on rebuilding the LS1 because I spend alot on my new 402. A rebuild that includes machining the block with a hone, new rings, new barrings, new head gasket, new oil pump and new bolts is $2000. Recommend new valve springs optional valve job is $280.
So that puts us at $2500 for a complete LS1 long block with a fresh rebuild with 0k. No exchange.
Last year I called around to a few engine shops and they either didn't know what a LS1 was or wanted $4000 plus $1000 core charge.
