Default Went to the track tonight on new motor!!

Well this was a great night for me. First time i had ever caught a light in this car i busted a 1.5 60ft and went 11.3 at 117 carrying the drivers side tire at least 3 feet.. that was N/A the car is a nitrous motor... So I made another couple passes on motor all hooking at a 1.5 60ft just flashing the conv. Then i played with the nitrous a lil i still left out of the hole just on motor and laided into it a lil in 2nd and most of the way threw 3rd.. ran out of gear a lil past the 1/8th and had to let it nose over a roll threw the traps on motor. went 10.77 at 125 and i plan on spraying a lot larger shot we are going to do a lil math and see what gear i need to run.. currently have 4.10/ th-400 / 28 inch tire.. Did good on motor but didn't make it on spray. Thinking maybe a 3.73 or 3.90? well let me know what ya think everyone and i will post up pics soon!

good runs,

I agree about the 3.73 and 28" tires. Should be good for 135 MPH or so as long a sconverter is not slipping too much and trans is in good shape (not slipping).

3.73s and a 28-29 tire. I was going thourgh the trapps on the limiter with 27s and bumped to 28s but might still need to go up to 29s. I was trapping 136 at 7,200 on the limiter 200ft out

Juice will stretch to converter ALOT! I am running the tightest 8in I can find and hoping for more I am hoping for mid nines at 140+

When you plan on hitting the brake?

When i put the rearend in!

Man you are bought to laugh!!! i am still rocking the 10-bolt!! with 4.10's lol i am in the process of buying a s60.. pulled a freaking 1.51 on just flashing the converter!! not even preloading the suspension or anything.. SO i am going to get the nitrous straightened out and hit it till she breaks.. It pulled the wheel 5 times last night and didn't even feel like it hurt anything.

1/8 mile should have been around 7.15 @ 95 MPH judjing by 60 ft and 1/4 mile times. This is just my guess, hopefully he will chime in.

What does the car weigh?

2900 you are extrmely good lloy actually the first run off the trailer was a 7.17 @ 94 on a 1.5 60'

on a tad bit of spray in 2nd it was 6.8 @ 104 on a 1.51 60'

Thanks again for all your help... i know it was like 6 months ago when you did my package but i finally got it to the track! very happy can't wait to change that gear and spray it with a 200... what you think it will go spraying the entire track if it did just that?
