Default 9.80's first weekend out

Right now I have a 368 800 hp N/A motor,1st time out ran a 9.80's at 140mph....... 3300 lb car with driver.I have a few issues
with gear and converter, but we will figger that out one step at a time.
I was going to build another short block but a larger cubs 412,or a 420 something square like that.
I would like to run in the 8.70 range,10.5 tire.

Thanks for looking

Tony : )

Hey Casper383 thanks for the good words.

368 sbc
SB2.2 Heads, titanium valves,Jessel rockers
Bowtie block with roller cam bearings
Custom built cam ,solid roller,
custom JE pistons
GRP Alumium rods
Custom COLA billet crank
aprox 14.5 to 15 to 1 compression
Belt drive oil system
Thats just off the top of my head.........?
I had LS motor in my car before, was new .....after 50 passes
put a rod out the side of the alumium block..... : (
Decided to go 1st gen stuff, parts a lot cheaper, and easier to get.
