Thanks. We hope the gear swap is gonna help the 60 ft and will allow us to run it out the back without spinning the SBE above 7000. Did you have a car there at the shootout?

Ok. Yea your car moves out pretty good too, especially on motor. Just need to put the big jets in and you will be ready. I love the NBM cars. We had an '02 NBM SS hardtop. it was 6 speed though. You bringing your car to HUB for the SCSO on 15 Dec?

Careful not to go on the bumper with the trans brake! Happens more than it should.

Congrats on the "eazy" 9.

Thanks. I'm not sure what you meant by "eazy" 9?

We went back out yesterday and made about 8 passes on an .088 jet. Had traction issues most of the day ,but managed a string of 6.30 -6.40 passes with 60 ft 1.48-1.50. Was leaving with 150 -175 and ramping the rest in about 1.2 and was spinning the tires a bit through 1st gear. Turned the progressor down on last pass , launched on 100 with a .8 ramp time and ran it out the back shutting the kit off at 6900 , through the traps on motor @7300. This was our best pass of the day.

1.43
6.31 @109
9.91 @137

Setup was :
BR9EFS plug
.088N/ .044F
14 Degrees total timing

Plugs didn't look like they were getting enough heat in them. Probably gonna put some timing in it next time out and fuel ring is still little rich so may step down another jet on fuel also. Got to get the front suspension done and gear swap and should be able to get 60 ft down. 3.07 1st gear + 4.11 doesn't like nitrous it seems.

Swapping to a converter setup better for nitrous and take some gear out of it by dropping down to 3.70. Looking to run some 9.60's on the .078 jet and then work our way up on the jet and see what happens. Next mods will be front struts/ springs and some weight reduction to get it to around 3400 lbs. Our goal right now is 9.40 with stock heads and ls6 intake and then look at a better nitrous cam and some heads.
