That time slip looks just like most of mine. From the 60' at the way to the end. Even mph lol.

385 SBC single plate kit, JW TH350, Moser 8.8 w/ 3.55 gears, 35 spline axles and a spool.

There are other light vehicles to use aswell as the mustang fax body. Fairmont is the same chassis. Pinto, Monza, s10, early 70's nova's etc...

It is best to find a nice roller with all the work done and put your motor of choice in there.
