The first 4 seconds of the video are my favorite. Damn car looked like it just wanted to go and it was hoping around.

That can be fixed by adjusting the bump box.

Looks like the bump was working just fine. You don't want it to go too far each time or you could deep stage it.

It works yes, the adjustment I was referring to was the fine adjustment. so it'll creep and not jump as much

A bump box will not creep. Its going to jump. Its releasing the trans brake which is either on or off. So it cant roll or creep in, its going to jump. Its trying to launch when released.

If you have it set to do so, it will "creep"

meaning the bumps will be small and more controllable than jumping forward large distances.

Yes, I agree you can shorten the release time. But it's still just a release and reengage of the brake. So the timing would have to be narrowed down to a very small number for it to act like a creep. Its still going to bounce some.

That's why we don't use one. Just another thing to potentially go wrong/fail

This is reference to what I was talking about.

I know some don't like the bump function. I haven't ever used one but will on my S10. Depending on the converter it is sometimes too hard to be at full rpm and hold it with the brake to roll the car in.

Nice job,

We were testing before a race a month, and we clicked it off at 4.3 into the run, coasted to a 4.97.... and 8.501 at 103 haha

can't wait to get out and run it out the backdoor.
