Default Exhaust set ups?

What are you guys running for exhaust? Mostly interested after the headers. I have the KOOKS ss true dual system with the quad tips. Full 3" with bullet style mufflers and no cats. I love the exhaust, it fits like a glove and is incredibly nice but I'm wondering if just doing dumps would be lighter/easier.

The car will see the street some but it's mostly a track car. What are your set ups!? Pictures would be good too.

Thanks

Not quite in the 9's, yet...but I believe to be the lightest/best flowing set-up short of just some 18" extensions off the headers. 3" Y to 4" merge and bullet.

Is that yours? Is it incredibly loud? What y-pipe and muffler is that?

Yes, on the 98 in sig.
Speed Engineering 1 7/8" headers and 3" Y. I cut the merge way back to the oval portion = to 4", cut a short 4" tube and ovaled it over the merge. Dynomax bullet http://www.jegs.com/i/Dynomax/289/24217/10002/-1. It is LOUD but deep and sounds good. Way to loud to drive on the street!

That's too bad. I'm looking for something like that but don't want the car crazy loud, it's already pretty loud.

Do you think it chokes it at all going from two into one?

A little comparison to what I cut off vs how she flows now.

Loud is subjective. If you ran it on out the back it probably would be so bad.
I think it flows equal or better than true duals dumped. Definitely lighter!

If you would like to hear it, there is a walk around vid Post #64 and some track vids Post 86, 110, 111 here https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...ld-thread.html
When I fire it up to back off trailer it turns some heads. Definitely doesn't sound like a 367" motor

It's always hard to tell on videos but honesty doesn't seem too different from what mine sounds like now with the KOOKS. Mine is a 408.

You can not have a conversation in the car. Could be because no carpet or any sound deadener and that it's dumped right under the seat!
