We are running 4.11s now with a 29.5" rear tire.

We had 3.90s in it when we ran our 1st 9 second pass though.

Thanks for your reply. How hard are spinng the motor? I'm thinking of 4.30s but undecided yet.

We normally shift at 6500, but have gone as high as 6900. It didn't make enough difference to justify spinning the engine that high though. Our engine was built to handle 7200 or better if needed, but the Fast 90mm intake peters out so early that the power is falling off past 6400 or so.

If we were running a solid roller with a custom sheet metal intake, I'd be running 4.30s and spinning it higher for sure. Our set up is a hyd pump gas engine designed to run on the street and win index/bracket races.

Yeah, I'm going to be using a 413-427 powerplant, soild roller, sheetmetal intake, etc.. so I will be turning some decent rpms with it. Also I will be using a TH400 as well.
