Default Expected Horsepower/Cam Suggestions?

My father and I have built up our 1968 Camaro over the last 6 years. For Christmas this year I just ordered him the Zex Perimeter plate nitrous system, blow down tube kit, bottle blanket, nitrous pressure gauge, and the purge kit. I'm also most likely ordering a new nasty camshaft to really open the engine and take full use of the nitrous. My question is (since I have not had the car officially dynoed) what power would you expect from the current combination as well as the upgraded combination.

Current engine specs:
388ci sbc (4.060 x 3.75, 5.7 rod)
350 sbc block, 4 bolt mains
Eagle forged 4340 rods and crank
JE forged pistons, 12.5:1 compression ratio
Dart Pro 1 CNC 227cc, 66cc chambers, 85cc exhaust
2.08/1.60 valves, 1.55 Dual springs (currently 195lbs closed, 523 open)
309/226 cfm at 0.700" lift
Dart ported matched high rise single plane intake
2 inch carb spacer
750cfm Race Demon
Comp Cams hydraulic flat tappet 248/248 @ .050, .565"/.565" lift
1.5 Crane gold race roller rockers
MSD 6AL ignition, MSD Pro Billet Distributor
Hooker Super Comp 1 7/8" headers
Max RPM: 7,000

I estimate around 600-625hp on 114/116/118 octane w/e the dyno shop has

New Setup (just changing the cam):
Comp Cams custom grind solid roller
4/7 Swap 257/264 @ .050, .644/.632 w/ 1.5
or .686/.674 w/ 1.6
110 LSA
Max RPM: 7,200-7,500

Looking to make 700hp on 114/116/118 octane w/e the dyno shop has

Your thoughts on power?

Also, I was quote another cam because this cam listed above is good for 250hp while this cam here is good for 300hp (nitrous hit):
Comp Cams custom grind solid roller
4/7 Swap 260/270 @ .050, .645/.645 w/ 1.5
or around .688/.688 w/ 1.6
112 LSA
Max RPM: 7,200-7,500

Which cam? Power expected?

I know it's a long *** post, but I really wanna hear some good opinions hopefully. Thanks guys and let me know if you need anymore info

Update: I decided to go with the second cam, new springs, new Hi-Tech 1.6 stainless steel rocker arms, Endure-X solid roller lifters, and the nylon cam button. Had to go with a small base circle and unfortunately they didn't have the 4/7 swap core to grind, so I got the regular firing order. Guy took off a good hundred bucks or so and threw in a banner lol. Thoughts on the cam? Thoughs on Power? Changes/recommendations?

I would say you are going to be near your HP goal you were looking for. I wouldn't be surprised if you were below your 700 HP since this is a n2o cam. How much n2o are you going to run (175/225/250/etc.)?

Probably a maximum of 250/300hp hit. Most likely I'll O-ring the block/heads when I have the cam installed, but I asked the zex/comp cams guys and they said with enough fuel and forged internals the motor should be fine with the 300hp hit. And yea I will definitely agree that I might be a little shy of the 700hp because the cam is geared more toward nitrous (which sucks I would've rather had it geared toward motor). But given that I may be using anything over 150hp hit, they said w/o this cam anymore nitrous over 150hp would just be useless and wasted so I kinda had to go this way even though it probably won't see the bottle more than 5 times a year.
