Default why does the car just slow down....????

ok so i got a 70 1/2 camaro with a 355. 202 angle plug heads, nitrous cam dont know specs, hooker supercomp headers, demon 660 carb, air gap intake manifold, new plugs wires and stuff like that MSD 6AL box k&n filter with the k&n lid also. th400 trans with shift kit and 3500 TCI torque convertor chrome moly driveshaft with 1350 yolks and a strange ford 9" inch with 37 spline axles and 4.10 gear. i know the power is getting to the ground at about half track it just stops making power. im running et streets and cutting a 1.84 60' foot and a .3540 reaction time. i ran a 13.2 at 106. first and second pull strong and 3rd just idk what happens. i know the whole small block/big block theory outta the hole the small blocks gets it everytime and half track or big end the big block comes around..

the car is setup for a 200 shot of laughin gas but was not used. do u think it could be a motor built to run on nitrous at WOT??? the car pulls hard on the street and at the line it pulls hard but half track blahhhh... could there be a problem or is it just how the car is gonna run off spray?

Well, if it has a small cam, it is going to be a turd in third, the reason the car feels god is the gears. Does it have a stall at all or what? Have you checked timing? It could be down as much as 8* for the nitrous if it is adjusted for it.

its got a good size cam in it. my guess is idk .580 to.620 lift. my guess of course. timing was changed to just motor passes. and yes it has a 3500 stall from TCI. yes thats true about the gear thats why i went with it...

Probably accelerating so hard that it is not picking up fuel in the tank, if you still have the stock tank. Try filing it up and see what happens. Could also be the carb not big enough and being a Demon.

Probably just being a Demon. Never had any good luck with those. Could be to small. I never ran anything less than 830 on anything. Find a friend that will let you use a bigger carb and see what happens.
