So Im doing a swap and i have 2 trucks a 91 1500 with a 350 and a 94 gmc 1500 with a 4.3.... I swapped out the 350 harness and ecm and put it into the v6 94 but the interior harness wont hook up.... Ive also read to leave the 94 v6 harness and ecm in and put a chip for a 350... I have no clue where to get this chip I also have no clue to make my interior harness connect any help is appreciated!

94 is the odd ball if i can remember, my 94 was said to be the only one that can swap to the 95 up dash because of the wiring.

The chip is inside the ecm. There removable. iirc 94 was a change over year for the wiring as said above. I believe you can use the v6 harness with the 350 ecu. You may have to swap some sensor and misc stuff around, I believe there interchangeable. I'm think I even herd you can even use the v6 ecu and everything just be sure to use your 350 injectors. Not sure how true that is tho.
