Smile 383 stroker swap into a 84' El camino

This is where im at.... I have a 84' el camino with a 305 in it with 350 heads that im swaping out for a 383 stroker. I'm gonna build a street motor with around 450- 486 hp and around 496 ft. lbs of torque. I'm wanna go with a 650 cfm carburetor, edelbrock airgap intake, 400 crank, 350 block bored .030 over, machine the main journals on the crankshaft, not on the block. Since it is a 400 crank, you must use the 400 vibration dampner and flywheel since they are externally balanced. Im wanna run this all on pump gas, so I'm not sure what kind of cam to get for this set up, I want a very mild cam to go with this but what? I got a few good 383 stroker kits jus need help on the other things so if you could point me in the right direction that would be great. Oh and the biggest thing is im not wealthy so I cant afford super expensive parts. Im doing all the work myself ( except for the machine work of course). Thankx for your help

So, 450+ HP and a mild cam? Hard to pull off man, you are asking allot, sounds like you want 400ish HP with a mild cam, 450 and that much torque is getting away from mild, still can be streetable but going to have some lope and a stall.

Either a hydraulic or solid roller cam for starters, somewhere in the 250-270 duration range, 570"+ lift, on a 110 lsa and that should just about get you near that mark if its rwhp you're looking for. You're gonna need about a 3600-4000 stall converter and no less than 4.11s out back.
