O ringed block

Default O ringed block

I got a 350 block and it has O ring around the cylinders and I must use copper gasket can I just take off the O ring and use regular head gasket?

Yes, we have done that many times. Just make sure you check the deck and take off enough to be right.
Having the groove left has never been an issue on any of our stuff.
Some guys even leave the ring and mill it flat, but I never bothered.

I toke off the O rings and checked the factory gasket the gasket dont sit exactly at the groove half circle sit on the groove and the other dont will this effect something?
