Default A good off the shelf stall converter.

What brand stall have you had good/bad experiences with? I'm looking for a 3000 or so stall for a 350/th400 combo. I put it here instead of transmissions because those threads are mostly focused on 4l60s.
I can't afford a custom converter. I don't want to run a stock one either, thanks guys

Too bad you don't live closer to me. I have a good 10" TCI for sale.

I know that's right. We pulled it out of my wife's 71 Camaro and put a Transmission Specialties 8" in it. Just wouldn't stall high enough for her engine. About 2800 behind a 489 with a th400 and 3.90 gears.
