Default Good th350 converter

Hey guys. I got a friend thats doing a mild 350 build in a 86 regal. Its a gmpp 350 ho with edelbrock etec 200 heads, ed curtis 224/236 605/608 110 cam with pro magnum 1.6 rockers, air gap intake. He has a th350 in it now with a used "hand me down" converter that is not really efficient. It also has 4.10s in it. Looking for some advise on converters. I was thinking around a 3000 stall. Ive heard good things with FTI and was looking into them. Let me know.

There are many brands to choose from but id look at something in the 3200~3600 range that with a 2.0 str. That car is pretty heavy and it will drive much better.
