Our cars tool too much alike as is, why change that? Lol

Maybe it will help, but I wonder how much restriction it will be for flow over the radiator?

It'll help, allot, but the hole under the hood will still be of use as well. Gotta finish a motor swap in a friends 2000 silverado, find a rear end and install it in my 04 escalade and then install the drive shaft and a fuel tank in my v8 s10 and take measurements to see why it's breaking drive shafts, then I can put all the new parts in my mustang and start testing. All it needs is the drive shaft cut like 4" I think? That's what I read, a 4L80 is 4" longer than a th400. I'll measure anyway.

Broke the stock 2 piece I had cut down, then had a one piece built, broke that with a trip around the block, had another built and now I need to install it and see where the angles are off and get another fuel tank.

Check the bottom of the back wall of the cab, it was probably rubbing there

I clearenced it when I installed the new one piece, I wish it was that simple, it wouldn't even mount up until I made room.

Not to get off topic here, but I still see the project is coming. I recently purchased a 2000 S10, swapping a 350 4 bolt into it with th350 for some street fun. Was wondering do you think ill need a driveshaft cut or would the original bolt in? Factory was a 2.2L with a Manual tranny.
