Hell, if your putting a stock engine in it, that's going to kill most of the sound. I am enjoying the mustang being loud and aggressive and my SS being smoothe and toned down. Lol

Don't think I have seen you post, or I missed it, about your exhaust system on your car. What are you running?

I'm stuck right now debating what to do with mine. Trying to decide if I want to do full 3" exhaust or 2.5, and either an H pipe or X pipe.

That was the main question was if you were running an H or X, I worded my question wrong. Can't decide which one i'm going with

My car having those damn dronemasters and being a dumped exhaust. I fully expected to have it drone like crazy. the X-pipe killed most of the drone. a H-pipe will not do that. If I were you I would go with an X-pipe

Yeah I am doing an X-pipe with Dynatech VT mufflers, 3" all the way. I need to bleed brakes, add power steering fluid and do the exhaust and it's streetable! Exhaust can wait, sounds good open headers

I just read this whole thread. It's funny how much I enjoy reading about a "lovable mutt" like your 'Stang. These types of cars are too much fun. I could not put that engine in there without painting the engine bay. It would drive me nuts.

OK Gents, I'm back. I got me a new project. I picked up this clean 1988 LX coupe body. No rust, no accidents, just minor door dings. The fabrication is about a 1/4 of the way done, may be less. It was originally a 4cyl auto car. My plans for now are to finish the fabrication (mini tub, subframes, coil over mount, arb, cage) and transfer all the parts from my old rusty coupe to this clean coupe. Im not sure what body style im gunna do (4I or Aero) but either way its gunna look good.

All my heaps
