Trevor I have a 383 with a set up like your 406. depending on your compression ratio a turbo would work very well as long as your set up doesn't have a lot of compression. I have a cam with specs about the same but build for a turbo. I have a 75mm set up that should push 1,000hp pretty easy, the problem is the stock block. mine is have filled with hard block. if I had to guess I wouldn't push much pass 700hp with a stock block which is what I am aiming at. if you plan to boost it get mls head gaskets and head studs. if you have a factory 4bolt block I would push on it too hard they are pretty good a cracking at the caps. good luck.
