Hey guys, i just bought an 88 corvette z51 with 107K original miles. 6K miles ago, it had a top end rebuild which i have documented on receipts. I got the car relatively cheap just to cruise around in. Today i checked the oil and a bit skeptical.

I am seeing some particles from an oil dipstick that i rubbed off on paper. Snapped a pic, and a bit too worried.

what do you guys think. OIL pressure is normal, drives fine, just like any regular 245 hp car lol...

Doesn't look bad. probably some carbon buildup from the mileage. Maybe it could use an oil change. Those small blocks are tough.
