Question about the 5.3l LM7 Hello everyone I am new here to LS1Tech, nice to meet all of you in advance, but I have question about the LM7 5.3l truck engine. Can you pair the LM7 with and LM4 block? So LM7 heads with an LM4 block? I want an all aluminum block like the LM4, but hard to find the vehicle I want at junkyards, in my case it is. mucb essier to find the LM7, but I dont want iron block 😲😲

You'll have better luck receiving a response if you post in the LS section of this forum instead of the 1st gen SBC section. I believe that the LM7 is a 3rd gen LS engine, but I'm not sure. (I'm a Corvette guy so I know those engines, but not the truck engines like the back of my hand.)
