Default a few recent pics, intercooler relocation and madman "save your ***" bars.

We had to relocate the intercooler to fit class rules, so we "made" room in front of the pass. side tire, it was VERY tight, had to channel the frame and cut the headlight header to shreds to get 1/2" clearance at the tire on full left turn..

I also had the converter apart cleaning it after the lastet poweglide meltdown, and there are a couple pics for someone who has never seen inside a converter.

Pics here: Http://outlawdragradial.com/interverter.

Here are a few pics of MadMan's new "save your ***" bars, for those of us who can't run wheelie (sissy) bars.

I just wonder how hard of a jolt that tubular K member can handle.

The K-member isnt taking that much at all. The bars are designed to collapse and absorb the impact. They are a disposable piece but it cheaper than oilpans and headers.

Amen to the bars! Those are nice, especially compared to the $$$ dropped otherwise. Nice call MADMAN, make a set for a 11 second Nova?

In the past my headers, pans, and manual rack did most of the shock absorbing. The bars will collapse to absorb most of the shock, keep in mind they aren't made out of some piece of scrap aluminum or some thing. They are moly, and should be a big help for the under cariage.
