Default What kind of heads are these?

I recently picked up a 73 Z/28 with the intention of yanking the motor out and putting either an LS-1 or LS-2 into it.

I'm going to drive the car this year with the 350 that came in it and ram a 150 shot down its throat

I was told the heads were Dart heads but I can't find any Dart markings on them. There is supposed to be a part number on the face of the drivers side head facing the front of the car but I can't see anything.

When I took off the valve covers the only markings I could see were:

Drivers side starting at#1 and going back to #7
I or 1 W then below were EBT

In the middle were CF in a circle

S/R
I-052

Pass side head
2-8

2 W
HF7
In the middle were CF in a circle

S/R
I-052

Any ideas?

It's been a while since I have worked on an old school sbc.

Thanks,
Marc

Brady,
Hello, yes they are iron heads.

Thanks for the tip, I'll have to give World products a call.

You sold the Z?

Looks like all good things come to an end for both of us, what are your intentions now?

Marc
