the cam numbers i dont know yet. i faxed my setup to cam motion. i`ll post on what they recommend. The shaft roller rockers have a 1.7 in and 1.6 ex.
Im going NA with my motor, nitrous maybe later.compression should be in the 14+ to 1 range.Flat top pistons netted 13 to 1 .

i'll take a stab at the cam size not knowing how many cubes you're running=276 @.050 intake,284 @.050 exhaust,.710-740 lift with your rockers.

the motor is a dart block 4.185 bore by 3.875 stroke =426". The heads were flowed on a 4.155 bore so flow should pick up with my bore.I dont think your to far off with your cam recommendation .

Nice numbers! I will probably be selling my Brobix 18* heads to pick up a set of CFE 18* heads.

To use them on a LT1 they need to be converted. I will be using mine on a LT1 I already have a Hogans Intake ready to do go.

I also order all the company cams through Cam Motion I try to keep lift in the low to Mid .600s so valve guide wear is not an isuue for a street car

BTW what CC's are the intake ports and the chambers?

If u put those heads and intake on your LT1 could u still call it a LT1???

I should of gone with a Hogans manifold too but at the time i was tossing the idea of going with a carb or fuel injection. So undecided i went with a regular intake manifold instead.

the chamber is 53cc and the port is 280 cc

LOL the arguement of the decade! I still have an LT1 block and it is reverse flow and it is an Expensive PITA to get done. Sounds like a LT1 to me!

I sold a Complete LT4 top end to get the intake alone. I was thinking of going 23* RR but figured WTF if I am going to do lets do it all the way I have most of what I need. I had planned on just getting this set of heads finished but for the price I might as well just buy another set finished and be done with it.
