It's the 10.200 race block w/splayed caps. The rotating assembly I ordered is a all forged 572, w/ lightweight crank,Eagle 6.700 H beams, JE 41cc domes. I'm going w/AFR's 357magnum cnc'd heads.I'm going to order them today or tommorow.CR w/that settup should be 13.5:1.

Man, those AFR's are nice! Spendy too!

Got a question....how do you get the main caps off the block with studs in the splayed caps? Usually they put standard bolts in the outer hole holes so you don't have to remove the stud to get the cap off.

^^I was kind of thinking the same thing. Is that dart intake a dominator flange or for a 4150. Just curious. Telling by the setup though, it's for a dominator.

Thats a Dominator flange.....and you'll probably want to work that opening if you're planning to run a carb spacer.

Haven't decided on the cam yet, except that it will be somewhere around 800 lift. Like I said before this is strictly a drag car so I dont have to worry about driveing it anywhere

They are 6.700 H-Beams. Yea I ordered an unassembled short block kit from AD Performance(Theyr'e on e-bay). I shopped around and found I couldn't beat their price,I got the block and entire assembly for 3,745.00 shipped to my house.Everything was drop shipped from the manufacturer dart, eagle, etc directly to me.I'm well pleased.

Depending on what you end up with for cam, I'd say 900 should be EASY with those cubes and heads. My 496 makes around 850 with similar parts as you.

Who is spec'ing the cam? I'd suggest talking to Jay at Cam Innovations or Ed Curtis (EDC on here).
