Just wondering if anyone here can help me find a camaro VIN# breakdown on the build sheet breakdown. I just bought an 89, what I believe to be an IROC but I am confused about some of the things that I am finding or not finding on the car and would like to see what I really have. Items such as options, engine, etc. I have decoded the VIN and just not enough info there to tell me what I need to know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

look for the service parts identification card its a white sticker with a bunch of 3 characters on it IE L98 N33 9NN stuff like that , all those are the options and so forth


for 89 there are a few options that might be on the car
J65 four wheel disc brake option rear rotors measure 11.65" rotors with PBR austrailian buil aluminum calipers
G92 option performance exhaust (dual cats) 305 had the 3.45 gear ratio and the 5.7 had the 3.27
B2L option 5.7L TPI motor
LB9 option TPI 5.0 motor
MM5 option is the 5 speed manual
QLC option is the 245/50 ZR 16 good year gatorback tires
G80 is the limited slip option 7.625 10 bolt
KC4 option is the engine oil cooler
Jg1 is a special aluminum driveshaft option that only came with the !le performance package but there were only 111 of them buil
