Default 2.8 V6 to 427 swap? is it possible?

I'm an 18 year old still in college, and recently i bought a 1987 Firebird (V6 2.8) and i was wondering if there is anyone out there or anyone that would know if a swap with a 427 is possible. I know I could do a 350, but I know someone who is getting rid of a 427. If it is possible, I'd like to do it...someone enlighten me please.

I'm sure it's possible. It's just a question of how much fabrication you can do (or can afford to have done)

www.thirdgen.org is your freind, this type of question is asked many.... many times a day.

Can you do it? Yes, is it a pain, yes.

You will also need a new fuel system, new tranny (the 2.8, 3.1, and 3.4 tranny will not work because the block is a different angle), weld in new motor mounts, ect ect.
