I have a project car which is a 1988 IROC-Z with a 350. I'm building the motor but before I order the rebuild kit I have a dumb question. Does a 1988 350 motor have a 1-piece or 2-piece rear main seal? Thanks all.

Not a dumb question at all unless you claim to be a bad *** at gen 1 small block chevys. But they have 1 piece from 1986 up, pre 86 were 2 piece, you should be able to re use your roller equipment with a pretty decent size cam if you desire also. Good luck with it and ask if you have anything else.
